Dual Screen Portable DVD Player
By embitca
Looking for entertainment on the go? A Dual screen portable dvd player is a common choice if you are looking for a portable solution for your vehicle. You have one dvd player, but two screens, so your passenger in the front seat can enjoy the show as much as your backseat passengers, or it is perfect if you have an SUV with more than one row behind the driver. Just be careful that the driver isn't distracted by the images if you are going to share with someone in the passenger seat.
Of course, you don't have to restrict use of your dual screen dvd player to the car or SUV. It's just as handy to have at home, at camp or wherever else you may be traveling with at least yourself and one other person along for the ride. So if you are cooking in the kitchen and someone else is down in the cellar folding laundry (or setting up Christmas presents!), you can both be watching the same movie.
The price has come down a good bit on nearly any dual screen portable dvd player that you would be looking to buy. For example, one of my favorite brands, Philips, has several different models that are well below $200 and they even have one that is currently selling for just under $100 on Amazon right now. So just check the list below for some of your best options for dual screen dvd players.

While Philips is one of my favorite brands for value-priced electronics, they aren't the only ones making dual screen dvd players for you. Here's a few other options to consider.

That's actually a pretty cool concept. Now I'm trying to think of ways to adapt it to the way I watch DVDs. I use funny movies as a distraction from my writing, which means I may end up watching one movie over a period of days, sometimes weeks (unless it's a recent one by Seth Rogen or someone on the extreme end of "funny," then I immediately watch the whole thing in one sitting). Anyway, I could have a screen over here and a screen over there, wireless headset, and remote, and move around a bit while watching my movies. Thanks for the review, good stuff. SK
